I can see the logic there... Their ban on unit spam and lowering the number of fanatics also hits them really hard. Without being able to run a half-dozen bolt throwers, they have a lot more trouble with flying monsters. The ban on multiples of units is rather puzzling to me, it cuts out the potential for a lot of themed lists, like an all-Chrace High Elf army, or some of the cult-specific units in the Skaven book. Though they say they're using the new book, so we'll see.

That is one side effect of most comp systems - super fluffy armies get axed by collateral damage.

I have Warmachine that weekend and the weekend after. Games Plus

I agree. This kind of thing bugs me. I would think that you could see the 3 hydra army as a power-game move as a judge, while leaving other people alone fielding things like an all Charce army (which is a really cool idea actually).
